Technical Product Manager

Product definition, planning, and delivery for enterprise operating system deployment and hardware lifecycle programs. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Determine business needs, understand market demands and technical trends, and propose solutions
  • Align with business partners to balance business and technical objectives as clear, stable priorities
  • Manage product planning through daily collaboration and decision making with cross-functional teams including engineers and business partners
  • Define non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, resilience, usability, accessibility, security, and business continuity
  • Define product health and performance metrics; create dashboard/reporting requirements and KPIs
  • Identify opportunities to improve feature performance and overall product health using data
  • Measure feature success post-deployment and feed insights back to the team and business partners
  • Work with engineering teams to understand, prioritize, and document technical and non-functional features
  • Practice iterative, agile development
  • Identify and document technical tradeoffs, dependencies, and constraints
  • Validate features against stated goals and facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Manage execution and eliminate blocking issues during development
  • Communicate product delivery milestones and progress effectively

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or relevant field
  • 4+ years using analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization
  • 4+ years working with design and engineering to deliver customer-facing features
  • 4+ years developing roadmaps, writing user stories, refining product backlogs, and managing conflicting requirements across multiple stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading large-scale Windows OS deployments in enterprise environments (10,000+ endpoints)
  • Strong understanding of Windows deployment tools and frameworks (SCCM/MECM, Intune, Autopilot, MDT)
  • Background in OS migration programs including compatibility assessments and phased rollout strategies
  • Experience driving end-to-end hardware lifecycle programs including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
  • Familiarity with OEM engagement, device roadmaps, and hardware certification processes
  • Hands-on hardware deployment experience including imaging, driver management, and logistics coordination
  • Solid understanding of enterprise device management, endpoint security, and configuration policy frameworks
  • Familiarity with modern endpoint management and cloud-based device provisioning
